Cardmaking Scraps
What kind of storage should I be looking for, and where should I find it?

I do papercrafting and cardmaking. It's all scrapbooking supplies, but without the photos, basically. I need to find something in which I can store 12x12 papers as well as scraps and smaller sheets, stickers, stamps, glitters, scissors, inks, paints, and various notions and embellishments. It would preferably be portable to some degree but hold as much as possible, in as organized a fashion as possible.

I can put things together if need be.

I'm a little cash-strapped, but I could make most things work.

Please, any suggestions?

ok you are cash strapped, go to your local Dominoes or Pizza Hut and ask for a new unused pizza box, small pieces in zip lock bags. That's as cheap as you can get. They usually will give you a couple for free.

You can make them pretty with contact paper if you want.

I make quilts and use boxes that I got from Joanns that are 14.5 inches square for around $8.00 not on sale but if you have a coupon or competitors coupon, they take those too.

I bought some of the boxes from this set separately, they work perfectly for me. http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.jsp?CATID=cat2007&PRODID=xprd74098

Now if you need something to hold small pieces, sounds crazy don't look in the craft department, get a small tool box from the hardware store or a tackle box from Wallyworld. They think we are stupid they take the same box and say it is for crafts and double the price.

But the pizza box shoud get ya by until you have the money to buy something else.
