What does "layered die-cut" mean in scrap-booking supplies?

I am trying to find some supplies to make a nice scrap book of my trip to Ireland. I found this map http://travelscrappin.com/ireland-map.html
but I don't know what it means when it says "layered die-cut map"... what is it like a sticker kind of? can I apply it to a scrapbook or to paper or what?

any websites with stickers or special paper that you could suggest would be great too

It's hard to tell from that picture but I'm pretty certain it means it was created using layers of cardstock. For that map, the green would have been cut out first and then the white is put over that, then the black and then beige map. The title "Ireland" is then placed on top so that it is created in layers. Does this make sense?

And yes, you can put it on your scrapbook page. It looks like that particular one isn't a sticker kind, so you will add your adhesive when you are ready to apply (like photo squares, tape runner, etc).

That is a really cool die-cut, I'm going to get one for my honeymoon to Ireland! Thanks for the link.

Do you have a scrapbook store or craft store locally? Be sure to check those too. I found some great paper that looked like castle walls and cobblestones, these are great to use. I found some good stickers and embellishments too (but nothing as good as this die-cut!). Have fun.
