Automotive Spray Booths: A Must For Manufacturers
Spray booths aren't just metal boxes where refinishing goes on. The best ones feature the kind of advanced technology even NASA scientists could appreciate.
Today's spray booths are ever evolving, technologically advanced, sophisticated pieces of equipment, capable of adapting to changing environmental standards with respect to the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and particulate matter. These VOCs have been identified to be a contributor to the deterioration of the Earth's atmosphere.

The premium category of automotive spray booths has insulated panels, a full ceiling air intake, a 3-fold door, strategically located light fixtures with inside access, a central floor exhaust system and a direct fired heat and recirculation air makeup system. Full ceiling air intake air filters ensure that the airflow is uniform throughout the spray booth. These filters are easily maintainable and changeable and filter monitoring is done electronically.
The concept of direct heating and recirculation improves 20% efficiency. This is achieved mainly by recirculation of 80% of the air which is already heated in the baking cycle. The panels of the spray booth are precision punched for quick erection and a flush fit. The wall panels are insulated and coated with white powder to economize on energy consumption.
