Tips for storage and organization!?

I am a horrible horde when it comes to getting scrapbooking supplies. When there's a good sale, I'm there and I stock up whether I need it now or not. I'll use it eventually in some form.
Right now, though, I've realized I'm broke and out of space. My tiny basement bedroom looks like a tornado blew through it. I have some storage bins that I've bought over time at WalMart but what I have isn't enough! What else can I do? I have a ton of paper. Plain cardstock and I love getting the various patterned stacks. I have gel pens, colored pencils, markers, glitter glue, and dual tip pens. Then there's stickers upon stickers upon stickers and tons of punched out embelishments. I also have pictures scattered everywhere. Any ideas to get me organized and find my bedroom again?

As simple as it sounds a filing cabinet with two or more drawers will hold tons of papers. Create sections by color and then have a file folder for stickers, paper, cut outs, or whatever has that color on it and stick it in that section then move on to another color.

Then you can use another drawer and buy the plastic tackle box organizers (can even find them at dollar stores cheap) these will hold your pens, glitters, stamps... and organize them by item per box and stack them in a drawer.

If you need more space buy another filing cabinet. Having two full sized filing cabinets takes up alot less room than a bunch of boxes and stuff in every drawer of your house! Not to mention a filing cabinet fits well in a closet...garage.. basement... they are hideable and you can even buy nice oak ones if you want them to be decorative.
