If you find yourself in the North Western Plaguelands then it is worth a visit to the Scarlet City, Hearthglen(45,16). On the way there you’ll pass a tower at (55,22). If there’s not too many people there it’s well worth a visit because there are half a dozen Scarlet Spellbinders in there. These are the only mobs who will drop the formula for ‘Enchant Weapon – Crusader’. Being so hard to come by you can expect in the vicinity of 200 gold for selling it!
There’s a heap of useful mobs to look out for once you get to the city. Scarlet Priests, Paladin’s and Sentinel’s are all worth sticking a sword through. They are level 53-56 elites, but die surprisingly easily. You’ll accumulate a mass of runecloth during your run in this part of the world, but even better are the random drops of green, blue and even epic items.

When you get sick of that, head to the weeping cave(66,47) in the Eastern part of the Western Plaguelands. These mobs(level 55-57) drop a recipe for ‘Greater Protection Potion’ about 1% of the time. Not such a bad deal when you think you can sell it for 100 gold – meaning each kill is worth 1 gold piece on average to you.
