Looking to make my wedding invitations but need a good adhesive for the embellishments?
I am planning to make my own wedding invitations using my Cricut cutter. I don't care if they look homemade, but using good old fashioned elmers isn't going to cut it. I don't want the paper wrinkling and I don't want glue everywhere. What kind of adhesive should I use to stick my paper embellishments on that won't look "tacky" (ha..ha)
Ahhhh... no don't use any kind of liquid glue at all. Do not use a glue stick- it sometimes will not hold up and your guests will receive invitations that have fallen apart in the mail.
You may want to invested in a Xyron machine. It coats the back of any paper into a sticker. You should be able to use the 510. Joann fabrics had them at 40% off.
If not a Xyron,. Use a two way tape runner. see link below. Dotto dots are my favorite
If you need even more hold or are putting on an embellishment that is 3d use Zots adhesive dots. they come in different sizes and thicknesses
